Sherlock x LittleSister!Reader - Breakfast Time!
~CATCHING BUBBLES~
Sherlock woke up that morning, earlier than usual. In truth, he was astounded by the fact that he actually slept at all. He had already slept yesterday, before they headed out to the crime scene.
He blinked out the remnants of sleep from his eyes - and only now did he feel the bundle of warmth next to him. He looked down to see none other than (Name), sleeping soundly - thumb resting at the bottom of her lips. He smiled fondly at her - then did something completely out of character.
He softly placed a kiss on her forehead.
Within a few seconds after doing so, he then stood up ramrod straight - as if electrocuted.
'No.

(Name) looked up from her Biology book from where she was on the couch, when she heard the sound of the front door slamming shut. She arched an eyebrow when she heard a man and a woman's voice.
John was home, and - by the sound of it - brought back a date.
The two adults had reached the landing, and continued their mindless chatter. They hung their coats on the stand - oblivious to the littlest Homes watching them with a questioning look.
"Hi (Name)," John said warmly - a smile on his face.
She didn't notice the man who was in front of her - but rather - her eyes were on the woman who was scanning their flat with

(Name) snuck into Lestrade's office quietly - head peeking out of the entryway - checking if anyone had seen her. When she was positive no one had been witness to her "extremely awesome mission", she shut the wooden door - shoulders slumping while she let out a sigh of relief.
"Did you get it?" Lestrade asked as he stood from his chair - causing (Name) to jump, and to tense once more. It was if she forgot it was his office - which she probably did, and most likely substituted it with the term "Headquarters" or "Hideout".
Once she recognized the man talking to her was not a foe - she looked to the left, and then to the ri

"'Lock. I'm boorrrrrrrreeedd," (Name) moaned from her place at the detective's usual seat - drawling out the word, so her big brother would understand the severity of her predicament.
Sherlock was in the kitchen - using the microscope to observe his milk-bred bacteria. If he were to be honest with himself - he too, was in dire need of stimulation. Lestrade didn't have a case, all the ones on the website were dull, and John was at work.
What was a Holmes to do?
His head snapped up in realization. He was absolutely positive Lestrade had a few cold cases lying around - considering the intellect of those idiotic excuses fo

"Anderson?" the inspector called out, causing the younger man to look at him with frantic eyes. "What happened?" he asked.
"I-I don't know!" Anderson replied. "She just started crying when I wouldn't give her the evidence!"
"Evidence?" Lestrade tilted his head in confusion. "Where?"
The forensics officer wordlessly handed him the bag - in which he took out the bear and inspected it (he was an inspector after all).
"Bloody hell, Anderson," he looked at his team member, and fixed him with a 'seriously-are-you-an-idiot?' look. "You thought this was evidence?"
"Well, it was in a crime scene! Bit peculiar to find a bear th

John Watson was - even though he would constantly deny it - absolutely afraid.
He stood, frozen at the doorway for a good two seconds - seeing the heads of the Yarders swivel as well, towards the source of the sound.
After getting over the initial shock, John then bolted towards the staircase, racing down the steps. Leave it to his mind to conjure up the worst possible scenarios in the 12 second run towards the living room.
'I know that scream. It's (Name), no doubt. Oh god, what happened now? What if the murderer was still down there. What if it attacked Sherlock? What if it attacked (Name)! Christ! Why are my legs so

Minutes later, the cab stopped in front of a house - new by the looks of it - where officers are bustling around. (And when I say bustling, I mean walking around, gossiping and not doing their bloody jobs).
~SH~
John stepped out of the cab - after paying for it again - followed by Sherlock, who had his hand held by a certain little girl.
(Name)'s eyes were so alight with a mixture of euphoria, excitement and awe, while surveying the crime scene - John didn't know wether to be happy for her, or concerned.
They made their way to the police tape - and lo and behold - there was Sally Donovan - arms crossed over her chest,

When John arrived home that evening, he was tired and miserable.
It had been a long day, filled with patients he who either had the sniffles or who had a problem that they could easily solve on their own. On top of that, Lestrade had a case he urgently needed Sherlock to look at - why Sherlock didn't answer his own phone - John didn't know.

He climbed the 17 steps to the flat, stomping on each one to express his displeasure. He reached the door, and was debating on slamming it open to vent out his anger, or open it normally like anyone would. He went with the latter.
It was a good thing too - if he went with the f

"Sherlock?" a small voice pipped up, causing the curly-haired man to look down from his microscope.
"Yes?" he asked, meeting (Name)'s pleading (Eye Color) eyes. He knew that tone of voice and that stare - what did she want now?
"I'm bored," she said mournfully.
The consulting detective carded a hand through his curly shock of hair, and sighed. That was the curse of the Holmes family - they easily became bored. Well, in the case of the siblings anyway - since their parents were impossibly dull, in their eyes.
"Well how do we remedy that?" Sherlock asked, causing (Name) to beam.
"Books," she said simply. "Biology, Chemi
